Common questions

My streak count looks wrong

Open the app once a day around midnight to be sure the counter has rolled over. If you traveled across time zones, the count uses your device's current time zone — change it in iOS Settings if needed.

I missed a milestone notification

Notifications fire at 9:00 AM local time on the milestone day. If you opened the app the same day after the notification, the in-app celebration screen will still appear. If you opened it days later, it will appear the next time you open the app — once per milestone.

I need to change my start date

Tap the gear icon → Start date → pick the new date → Save. This recalculates your streak and reschedules upcoming milestone alerts.

I want to start over

Main screen → "Start over" at the bottom → confirm in the sheet. Your previous best is saved and shown on the confirmation sheet. Day count resets to 0.

The widget isn't updating

Long-press the widget → Edit Widget → close. Or remove and re-add it from the home screen. If that doesn't work, restart your iPhone.

How do I delete my data?

There's nothing to delete on a server — Kern stores everything locally on your iPhone. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. There is no account to close.
